Illinois Pole Vault Safety Lessons Sponsored by ITCCCA & the Illinois Pole Vault Coaches Association. National Pole Vault Hall of Famer Jan Johnson once again brought his expertise back home to the vaulters of Illinois. The lessons were held at Maine South High School in Park Ridge. Gill brought in 8 (4 men and 4 women) world-class vaulters for the weekend. What a thrill to see an 18+ foot vault in the fieldhouse. Illinois Prep Top Times Classic The unoffical indoor state meet always brings out the best in Illinois' male and female vaulters. The Windy City Pole Vault Summit at Rolling Meadows High School Jimmy Voyles of Rolling Meadows High School hosts a vault-only meet each March. It is a fabulous showcase for Illinois male and female vaulters. Everyone has a blast with rockin' tunes and Jimmy's contagious cheer-leading.
